Dynamic Pricing allows you to display discounted prices across your storefront, visible publicly for all visitors or privately via unique links in ads, emails, or social campaigns. It’s a powerful way to deliver tailored promotions to different customer segments and ensure a consistent experience from click to checkout.

How to Set It Up
- Within the Abra app, navigate to settings
- Under Dynamic Pricing section, click "Edit JSON file"
- (Optional) Adjust Price and Gift with Purchase settings
- Price Formatting: Enable the Hide trailing zeros option to clean up how prices display (e.g., show $100 instead of $100.00).
- Gift with Purchase Cart Behavior: Turn on this setting to automatically add a free gift when it’s included in a promotion. If the customer removes the gift, it won’t be re-added automatically.

FAQs
Q: Does this apply to all promotions?
A: Yes. Once the app embed is enabled and schema is added, Dynamic Pricing will display prices for all promotions created in Abra. Abra displays the discounts the same way Shopify checkout does, so Product Discounts will show per line item and Order Discounts will show at the sub-total level.
Q: Can I show discounted prices only to customers in a certain segment?
A: Yes. This can be done with a Private Promotion in Abra, which can be activated through a link shared through email, ads, or social campaigns. For more control, for use cases such as loyalty or member programs, you can use the Customer Account visibility setting on the promotion. When this setting is turned on, only logged in customers who are tagged will see the promotion.
Q: Will dynamic pricing show on Shop App, POS, or Tapcart app?
A: Dynamic pricing does not display in Shopify POS or the Shop App. It will show on your online store and in Tapcart mobile apps (we offer free setup for Tapcart merchants). Learn more about our Tapcart integration.
